About SabiGuy
Finding someone reliable for an everyday service — and getting the job done without back-and-forth — is harder than it should be. SabiGuy makes services and logistics easier: customers find providers around them, pick one they can trust, and book and pay inside the app. I built the mobile app end to end, with simultaneous iOS and Android release planned. The app delivers dual-sided experiences — service users browse, book, pay, and track jobs; providers manage availability, wallet earnings, KYC onboarding, and real-time messaging with an AI support chatbot.
Tools & Technologies
React Native, Expo 55, TypeScript, Expo Router, Zustand, Socket.io, React Native Maps, Paystack, WebRTC, NativeWind
Engineering Highlights
Built nearby provider discovery: customers set their location on a map and see providers around them, so finding someone for a job takes a few taps. KYC onboarding for providers adds a trust layer, helping customers pick good providers with confidence.
Built role-based navigation separating service user and provider flows — bookings, wallet, withdrawals, KYC, and dashboard analytics per role.
Integrated map-based location selection, Paystack checkout with escrow-style payment verification, and real-time Socket.io messaging.
Added AI-powered support chatbot with dynamic FAQ suggestions and booking-aware conversation context.
